On Thursday I had the great opportunity to chat about all-things Cyber Flashing with Sophie Gallagher, a journalist based in London who has covered the issue over the last 2 years for the Huffington Post, hearing the accounts of almost 100 women who have all been cyber flashed. She's also worked with MPs Jess Phillips and Maria Miller from the Women and Equalities Committee.
Sophie was targeted in 2017, as she was coming home from work someone attempted to send more than 100 pornographic images to her phone images Airdrop.
Speaking over the phone, Sophie told me about how her case studies have been the driving force behind her work, and if anything has changed in people's attitudes since the first reported case in 2015:
You can hear more from Sophie in the coming weeks and when No Flashing Matter, the radio documentary, drops on the 13th December.
