No Flashing Matter

My final year university project on Cyberflashing. It asks what is it, what is it like and what is being done? I interviewed several academic experts and a lawyer from the Ministry of Justice for a radio documentary and a supplementary production blog.

BUzz News General Election Coverage 2019

I was responsible for live blogging a question time style event held at Bournemouth University with local parliamentary candidates and councillors.

I also took part in the live coverage on election night, as a segment producer responsible for the production of packages for the twice-hourly bulletins.

Physician Associates Promotional Video

A video promoting the work of Physician Associates as part of a package of communications around major changes in Primary Care services (a joint project between Royal Berkshire Hospital and the University of Reading).

Celebrating the Cancer Champions

I worked alongside the PR team at Royal Berkshire Hospital to produce a film to celebrate their Cancer Champions that have worked in the local area.

News reading

I read two news bulletins put together by myself and fellow students on my course during our converged news days in January 2020.

The bulletins were streamed live on the BUzz website and covered a mixture of local and national stories through interviews, packages and two-ways with reporters.

Cyber Flashing Article

During my placement at Sky News I wrote an article that was featured in an edition of their snapchat story about cyber flashing. I researched relevant information and compiled a piece to educate readers and raise awareness, as well as instructing them what to do if they become a victim.

Being HIV Positive
With a group of fellow students, I helped to create a 'Features for Change' documentary about local people in Bournemouth living with HIV.
We worked together with the  charity 'Body Positive Dorset' and were able to interview a really interesting and inspiring group of people who kindly shared their stories about their diagnosis journey and experience with stigma.
